It Must be Summer

The two local creel fishermen have moved their boats from their winter moorings in Camas Fearna, a sheltered bay about 10km up Loch Sunart, to their summer moorings in Kilchoan Bay.  Alasdair Maclachlan is pictured rowing out to his Sylvia T this morning.

Kilchoan Bay is very exposed to the prevailing westerly gales, so Alasdair and Justin Cameron - shown here taking his Harvester to sea a few minutes later - must be fairly confident that summer has arrived.
