Hello from...Bresse! Amazing to find this picture of our bresse chicken in Scoltland, especially for me and my husband who are great lovers of your beautiful country, I spent a year in Ayr, and we went several times on holidays around Scotland. As far as the Bresse is concerned, here in Bresse, we don't have a lot of these "grises", the most common being the white ones, those which are so famous for the quality of their meat. And we are proud to have a special label for this chicken, forcing breeders to feed them properly and giving each chicken at least 10m2 to live! Just for animal wealthfare (mistake?), it's a great idea. Why did you choose this breed? Do you still have some? What for? Flo from La Bresse, a nice rural place in the South of Burgundy.
