Ice & Fire

With a stiff north-north-easter blowing, and last night's temperature dropping to 4C, the first snow has appeared on the mountains to the north of us. Kilchoan Early Bird's picture shows the snow on Rum, behind the dark silhouette of Muck.

It may have been cold and windy but, as Out&About's picture shows, Kilchoan's bonfire night went well. Being safety-conscious souls, the pyre was built right next to the Kilchoan Fire station.

Many thanks to Kilchoan Early Bird and Out&About for the pictures.
