This orange dot is the moon at about 2am yesterday morning, lying low on the horizon, pictured by Sue Cameron in Pier Road. She asks if anyone else saw it.The photo suggests that it was dark at that time of night. With the AuroraWatch website still indicating an amber alert, perhaps tonight someone will see both an aurora and an orange moon.
