'Lysblink Seaways' at Breaker's Yard

Many thanks to Iain McAllister of Peggy Bawn Press who has sent the Diary this picture of the Lysblink Seaways at a breaker's yard on the Clyde.

Iain writes, "I sailed close to Lysblink Seaways at Rosneath a couple of days after she arrived there. Break-up work had already commenced with a big bonfire behind the bridge, and name, port of registry and DFDS logo on her funnel painted over."

I heartily agree with Iain when he abhors the way a once proud ship is being humiliated when, in my opinion, her demise was probably entirely the fault of her crew.
