Morning & Evening

Early morning saw dead calm with a fishing boat, OB104, at anchor at the entrance to Kilchoan Bay. But the Sound of Mull was soon busy....

....with Royal Navy patrol vessel P165, HMS Example, and several yachts passing Ardmore Point light.  Soon after....

....she was followed by P164, HMS Explorer.  We saw her on 10th July in Tobermory, post here, along with HMS Archer.  We seem to be inundated with patrol boats.

We spent most of what was a lovely, warm day walking in the empty lands to the south of Beinn nan Ord, but as we walked up the garden clutching glasses of wine for our sundowner drink, we passed two ants nests disgorging their flying ants so, as we enjoyed our wine....

....we watched three toads enjoy their ants.
