here. It's the time of year for fishing for sprats, and the
Krossfjord 's master shot his nets off Ardmore, where the water goes down some 100 fathoms, after seeing a large shoal. He then towed his nets between to two fleets of the Maclean's creels, causing a bit of a stand-off. The
Krossfjord left the Sound shortly afterwards, heading north.
