
In response to the recent post about the inclusion of the
Ardnamurchan campsite in
The Guardian's
Guide to Camping 2011, Dave Kime has sent in these two pictures which solve the mystery of the illustration used by the paper.

Dave says, "I'm certain the photo shows
Sgurr Dhomhnuill from the Morvern side of the Loch with the houses of Strontian below. The long ridge in the front is
Sgurr na h-Ighinn and the south top of
Sgurr Dhomhnuill is visible just below the summit. In these photos, taken looking up the Strontian Glen, the mountain profile is almost identical to
The Guardian's photo. Maybe their photographer never found Ormsaigbeg!"
Many thanks to Dave for solving the mystery - but shame on The Guardian for not having a picture of beautiful Ormsaigbeg.
