Tom such a shame to see the photo of your poor hen after the dog attack. So sad after they looked so magnificent in photos in the diary the day before. I hope she recovers and the others are not too traumatised. I was very interested to read about the Ixworth breed - I live in Suffolk and used to keep chickens both layer and growers! After another attack by an uncontrolled dog yesterday. All of the hens are now behind a 2000v electric net until the end of the holiday season.
