Ockle Holiday

Paul Howes, who is a regular visitor to West Ardnamurchan, was staying at his favourite place, the tiny crofting township of Ockle, during one of the weeks we were away.  He enjoyed, as he says, "unbroken sunshine" and, as can be seen, some of the famous north coast sunsets across the Minches.

Amongst other things, he climbed Ben Hiant in good weather and took some pictures of Ardnamurchan's wonderful wildlife, including this very fine buzzard.

Many thanks to Paul for the photographs.
Paul stayed in one of the Ockle Holidays letting houses.
