ots of fledglings around at the moment from robins to wrens to thrushes but I am not sure what these two are.
"They'
ve taken up residence in my raised bed. I hope they can avoid the predators as they like to spend time in the open."
This picture, which seems to show one of the parents, may give us a clue.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a sedge warbler!
ReplyDeleteI fairly sure that they are either Chiffchaffs or willow warblers due to the amount of green they have, sedge warblers would be much browner.
ReplyDeleteI reckon its an arctic warbler. a vagrant. only one or two records a year.
