Gulls Mob Eagle

We're seeing eagles over us almost every day, something we've noticed before in the early months of the year.

This one came over just after lunchtime today, his presence heralded by the raucous cry of a pair of gulls, who seemed to be enjoying giving him a hard time.  It must be miserable as an eagle, trying to be majestic while being constantly pestered by these miserable little birds - a bit like us being harassed by midges in the summer.

This one was clearly an adult sea eagle as we could see his white, wedge-shaped tail.  After about ten minutes of trying to shake off the gulls he gave up and set off in the direction of Mull, quickly leaving them behind.
