After yesterday evening's storm, the wind has gone round into the northwest, bringing sunny intervals and short, sharp showers. For those yachtsmen and women who have the nerve, this is exhilerating sailing weather - this yacht came up the Sound this afternoon to round Ardnamurchan Point. To put this into perspective, there was no sign of any Cal Mac ferries at the time.
This Tortoiseshell was basking on a bank in one of the sunny spells, though he would have had to make a rapid dive for cover when the rain returned.
