After a cold, clear night and a touch of frost, we woke to a glorious morning, the sort which makes it a joy to be alive in such a beautiful place.
These four pictures were taken from the end of the jetty below The Ferry Stores at 9am, with not a breath of wind and hardly a cloud in the sky, nothing but the slow slop of the swell against the slipway.

Looking southwest, along the Ormsaigbeg shore, with Shore Cottage on the right, the hill
Maol Buidhe dominating the centre distance, and the north end of Mull at left.

Looking northwest, with The Ferry Stores at centre and the hill called
Tom na Moine at top left.

Looking northeast at part of Kilchoan township, with the bulk of
Glashbheinn behind.

A final view southeast across Kilchoan Bay, with the mountains of Mull in the distance.
