Danish Warship Passes

The Danish frigate, HMDS Iver Huitfeldt, passed us at 8.20 this morning heading down the Sound.   She entered service with the Danish Navy in 2012, her role being primarily anti-aircraft, for which she is fitted with a sophisticated radar system developed with the German and Dutch navies, along with a missile system which enables her to control up to 32 Sea Sparrow missiles in the air at the same time.
