After seeing the blog entry about charming the seagull, here, Steve Suttill sends this picture and writes, "I saw the one-legged gull in the Diary. It's probably the same one I photographed in early May this year on the bird table at The Ruin at Ardslignish. We've seen it a few times in recent years - it was there this July as well - and, judging by comments in the visitors' books, it's a popular local character."
