The Royal Netherlands Navy's HNLMS Van Speijk, F828 passed down the Sound this morning - the picture was taken looking from Mingary Castle across Mingary Pier. She's been taking part in Exercise Joint Warrior, in which more than 34 warships from the UK, US, Netherlands, France, Denmark, Turkey and Norway have been working with the countries' air forces and armies to test their battle-readiness. They were on the Clyde last week. Amazing to see so many ships from different countries.
