There was a landslip on the B8007 yesterday afternoon between the top of the hill at Ardslignish (from which photo was taken) and the bottom of the hill by Greenwood - the section of road called Ardslignish Brae. Highland Council have had workmen on site monitoring the situation, and the road has been passable with care - BUT they have now issued the following statement:
"It has now been confirmed that a contractor will be on site by 5pm to start clearance of the road, which will first be done by removal of some trees. The road will be fully closed while clearance works are underway and while it is hoped the road may re-open tonight there is no guarantee of this."
