The archaeologists of the Ardnamurchan Transitions Project will be back on the north coast for their annual excavation. They’ll be there this year from the 21st July to the 3rd August, and plan to return to some of the medieval structures they were digging last year and perhaps to look at some of the clearance cairns. There will be the usual Open Day at the site, on Sunday the 28th July, and they hope to run a number of other events, for example for children, as they did last year. They also plan to do a talk in the hall again.
More details will follow.
