As part of its series of local histories, A Kilchoan Diary publishes today the story of one of the saddest yet most beautiful settlements of West Ardnamurchan, the abandoned township of Glendrian.
This history started as a project for a module the author took from the University of the Highlands & Islands 'Archaeology and Local Studies' course. The course was undertaken at the
Kilchoan Learning Centre.
As with all the histories, this is a work in hand. If anyone can help with more information about Glendrian, particularly its history during the 19th century, please get in touch using the email address at the bottom of the right-hand column of this blog.
