  1. I have just returned from the Ardnamurchan staying at Portuairk and whilst there on holiday my son fell ill - we were very impressed with the excellent service provided by Arachale medical centre (The Pines)who accomodated my son on the same morning giving us an appointment for 1.5 hour after the phone call it meant he could get treatment and we could continue our holiday - so just wanted to say that as a tourist we feel the services should stay in place as the Ardnamurchan relies so much on tourism, as well as providing an essential service to the local community.

    1. It will be seen in Wednesday 5th Sept. press that there are rumours that Nicola Sturgeon is to be moved from her post.

Whether she (or her replacement) will feel obliged to honour her long standing appointment in west ardnamurchan on 10th Sept. must be in some doubt.
