UoK, the 'University of Kilchoan', has just completed another hugely successful course, pulling in students of all ages from secondary school through to senior citizen, and from across Scotland, for a practical sheep-shearing course. The course took place over two days at the sheds at Caim. Organised by UoK Vice-Chancellor Pat Glenday, it was run by Lochaber College and the British Wool Marketing Board.

While some of the participants had prior experience, others were first-timers.
Such is the renown of Kilchoan's university that one student travelled all the way from Dundee to take part.
