The
Lysblink Seaways, a 7,500 tonne freighter, is seen ashore at Kilchoan Pier. The master had hoped to float her off at high tide but high tide passed at 5.17am without her moving. Tobermory lifeboat is in attendance and has a tow rope attached.
The weather is force 4 from southwest, pushing her further on to the rocks, and is due to worsen as the day comes.
